This class is located in the Clay Cavern at the ArtWorks Center

“This class will offer another step of learning using 3/d form, from handbuilding techniques of clay, to wheel throwing.  Gathering ideas from previous learning and creating a vast amount of amazing art pieces. Where techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch pot are explored.  Revisiting the use of texture for the sense of touch and exploring color to capture the eye.  Learning to share ideas by brainstorming and encouraging each other to try new ideas.  During this class Rhonda will give demonstrations on wheel throwing, offer suggestions and help and show ideas.

Class time will be spent creating with clay. Students will need to come back in their own time to glaze their pieces. It is recommended that they come during open clay studio on any of the following Wednesdays from 5pm - 8pm.”
