This crash course is designed to teach you the core foundational skills of the pottery wheel. Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate, this class will allow you both the time and instruction to learn and improve upon your wheel throwing skills. Starting with the basics, centering, opening through raising walls, and creating volume, you’ll move into learning shaping and the fundamentals of form.
This class only covers the throwing portion of making pottery. To glaze your pots, it’s recommended to attend one of the glazing sessions as follows (there is no extra fee for glazing sessions):
Saturday, September 24th from 1pm- 2:30pm
Saturday, October 22nd from 1pm- 2:30pm
