Austin native and AHS alumnus Jon Stowell ('99) will be performing at the Austin Artworks Center on Friday, October 28th at 7pm. Stowell blends rock and roll, Americana, folk, and country music styles for a one of a kind sound. He has previously played with popular Minnesota bands LOUDRAY and Part Time Ex's. "This is going to be a fun evening," Stowell says, "I plan to play a bunch of 3 or 4 song sets with different musicians I have collaborated with over the past ten years. Each set will be unique and showcase the musical companionship I have with the other performers." Joining Stowell will be Austin natives Adam Johnson ('98) and Nick Tobar ('03), percussionist John Hicks, Peter Bauer on harmonica, and Ric Lee on violin. "We'll likely have the full cast in on the last few songs," he laughs. Tickets for the performance are $5 and are only available at the door. The concert takes place Friday, October 10th from 7-9pm at the Austin Artworks Center at 300 Main St. N.
