Free Music: 5:30 by MacPhail Percussion near the instruments on the berm bike trail; 7 p.m. Austin Community Band in pool parking lot; 8:30 p.m. ArtRocks Open Jam in the Paramount Theatre

Free Activities: 5-8 p.m. open swim at the Austin Municipal Pool; art activities and face painting by Matchbox Childrens Theatre near the Austin Public Library; Canoe and Kayak paddling in Mill Pond by Cedar River Watershed District; roving Pallet Players mini-plays; share your vision for the future of Austin at the feedback station; sidewalk chalk available.

Enjoy your public spaces. Bring your own lawn chair, blanket or snacks. Or support downtown restaurants and businesses.

In case of inclement weather, activities will continue in the Austin Public Library and the Paramount Theatre.
