Beethoven & Bruch - Featuring Emma Anderson, Violin

In the opulent acoustic perfection of Austin’s Paramount Theatre, orchestra member and talented high school senior, Emma Anderson will make her Austin Symphony Orchestra solo debut with Bruch’s dramatic and powerful First Violin Concerto. The concert will conclude with Beethoven’s ground breaking tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte and the Democracy he first represented with his Symphony No. 3. Often cited as the work to begin the musical Romantic Era, this symphony was one of Beethoven’s favorites for its ground-breaking and dynamic innovation.
