Beginner to advanced 1-day - watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, or pencil

Join in this day long painting retreat to explore your artistic skills. Develop your artistry and self-expression as you move from concept to completion. Your instructor, Steve DeLaitsch, will guide each attendee through specific techniques and ideas encouraging each to create their own style. He teaches the class in a manner that allows for the personal expression and development of each student. All forms of art can be covered from realism to abstraction and all skill levels are taught. The fundamentals remain the same from beginners to experienced artists. Steve will demonstrate his painting theory, drawing, and techniques covering topics such as preliminary sketching, drawing, pastel, watercolor, acrylic or oil painting. Bring the media of your choice.

CHOICE OF MEDIUM - watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil and more. Move from concept to completion by discovering unique qualities in the materials while taking your work in fascinating new directions. Demonstrations will be customized to fit the class. These may include landscapes, figures, still life, or specifically targeted demonstrations to meet your requests. This day long Painting Retreat is designed for a longer, more intense class to focus on encouraging creativity, self-expression and artistic skills.

SUBJECT MATTER - We will have suitable outdoor locations to meet at which will have facilities near by. If the weather is difficult we will paint still lives or out of windows.
