Handbuilding Coiled Vessels with Emily Wartsbaugh

Pottery Artist Emily Wartsbaugh is leading three workshops to teach you how to handbuild different projects.  In this second class students will learn how to use handbuilding techniques to make a yarn bowl, berry bowl, or round luminary.  Intermediate and advanced students are welcome to come to take their skills to the next level.

Emily Wartsbaugh has a studio art major with a focus in ceramics from Gustavus. She has taught for 14 years as a special education teacher, teaching visual arts for over 8 years. Emily has taught wheel throwing and hand building classes to both youth and adults.  She is the founder of Great Shark Lake Studios, through which she sells and exhibit her own art pieces in painting, ceramics, photography, and multimedia media.
